Q3 : King James Bible Versions

I wish that there was a test or survey that I could take to see which of the editions of the KJV Bibles is the closest to how I remember the Bible. Thank you for your time and help.

I'm not aware of any survey like you mention. Concerning KJV bible versions, there aren't very many that have gained popularity so that might narrow the possibilities down. In fact, other than the standard KJV itself, most of the alternatives haven't been around all that long. If what you remember is from a considerable time back, I would guess it was probably the standard KJV.

Other variations of the KJV that I'm aware of include:

NKJV - New King James Version. A modern language version of the KJV. The most widely-used KJV variation today. By Thomas Nelson Publishers. (www.thomasnelson.com)
MKJV - Modern King James Version. A modern language version of the KJV which stays closer to the KJV than the NKJV. By Jay P. Green. (www.mkjvonline.com)
KJ21 - 21st Century King James Version (www.kj21.com)
KJ2000 - King James 2000 Version by Robert Couric (that is the one we use at the link you mentioned below). Very few people know of this version, although it is used by the Bible League. (http://life-equals-jesus.org/Couric/KJ2Khome.html)

With the exception of the NKJV (first published in 1979), I don't think any of the others have gained much of a following.

It may take a few minutes to download all three books if you are using a slow (dialup) internet connection, but it will eventually display a three-column "parallel bible" with each of those versions.

By typing in any address, all three bibles will move to the same passage and you can compare their wording.
