Original Language Fonts
Where
Hebrew or Greek appear, the word or phrase is transliterated for
those who are unfamiliar with the original languages or lack access
to the special fonts. Examples: ʼΙσραηλ
[Israēl]
יִסְרָאֵל
[yisrā’ēl]
Hebrew is best viewed using the SBL Hebrew font
available from http://www.sbl-site.org/Resources/default.aspx
Greek is best viewed using the Gentium font
available from
http://scripts.sil.org/cms/scripts/page.php?site_id=nrsi&item_id=Gentium.
If these fonts cannot be accessed, the Ezra SIL
and Galatia SIL unicode fonts can be obtained
from our website: http://www.SpiritAndTruth.org/fontsu/index.htm.
Transliteration, which includes overbars, underbars, and
dots, is displayed using the Arial Unicode MS
font.
Special fonts are not needed for Hebrew or Greek in
print or PDF formats.
