Mosaic Covenant
At Mount Sinai, God gave the law, including the Ten Commandments, through Moses. Although Israel ratified a bilateral covenant with God promising to uphold His law, the nation subsequently broke the covenant by failing to keep the law. (Ex. 24:1-8; Jer. 31:31-34)
