MP3 Audio Recording

To listen to MP3 audio recordings, you can use the built-in Windows media player or download and install one of the MP3 audio players listed below. No advanced player features are required so all you need is one of the free basic players offered by any one of the sources below..

If you are running a version of Windows, the built-in Windows Media Player should automatically launch when you download an MP3 file. But, if not, you can follow these steps:

  1. Download the MP3 file from our website and save it to a location on your computer.
  2. Under the START menu select PROGRAMS... then ACCESSORIES... then MULTIMEDIA...
  3. You should find WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER listed there.
  4. Start WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER.
  5. Use the FILE... OPEN... menu in Windows Media Player to open the MP3 file you previously downloaded.

If you do not have Windows Media Player, then you will need one of the media players listed below. Each of them offers a free basic version (although they will try to steer you towards versions which include a fee so you have to look carefully at which version you are getting).

After you have downloaded and installed the audio player, you can then download MP3 files from our website and listen to live teaching. You can either listen to the audio file as it downloads--which may pause if the internet is busy. Or you can right-click on the file and download it to your computer hard drive and then listen to it in entirety without pauses.
