Professor Bringsjord brings both expertise and sanity to the topic and clarifies why so many people are confused about AI and the limits of what it will ultimately be able to achieve.
It mainly boils down to this: today’s atheistic science (materialism) ignores the exceptionalism of humanity and the human mind
. Raw processing speed is not the issue: the workings of the human mind will never be reduced to an algorithm.
Exceptionally-high-speed regurgitation of pre-tutored facts will never replicate true intelligence.
